IEICOS computer-based Flow Process Control Trainer is a state-of-the-art equipment that incorporates latest technology sensors, signal conditioners, instruments and computer as a PID controller.

The following sensors and instruments are incorporated in the systems

  • Flow sensor
  • Electro pneumatic convertor
  • Pneumatic control valve
  • Rotameter
  • Solenoid valve
  • Air regulator
  • Centrifugal pump
  • Signal conditioner
  • Pressure gauge for measurement
  • A computer with powerful software for operation of the system
  • ADC/DAC card for interface

The PID controller consists of a dedicated computer with control software and data acquisition board for displaying and controlling the parameters. Control software is user programmable with provision for operation in different models such as ON/OFF, proportional integral, proportional derivative and proportional plus integral plus derivative.

It incorporates menu-driven configurations and graphical display to study the trend of process and analysing the process behaviour off-line.
